Your AI Visibility Score is a number from 0 to 100 that measures how well AI models can understand and accurately answer questions about your business. Your score is built on a three-layer framework that measures readability, answerability, and credibility.
How It Works
The score is based on three layers, each measuring a different dimension of AI readiness.
Layer 1 — AI Readiness (30%): Can AI technically read your site? This checks content structure, heading hierarchy, schema markup, and whether your key pages are crawlable.
Layer 2 — Information Quality (30%): Can AI answer the questions customers actually ask? This evaluates whether your pricing, hours, services, and differentiators are specific enough for AI to cite.
Layer 3 — Corroboration (40%): Does the web confirm what your site claims? This checks directory listings, reviews, press mentions, and third-party references.
What’s a Good Score?
- 80-100: Strong. AI can confidently recommend your business.
- 60-79: Moderate. AI gets the basics right but misses key details.
- 40-59: Limited. AI struggles with your business and may recommend competitors.
- 0-39: Weak. AI essentially ignores your business.
The average business scores 58 out of 100. Most lose points on Information Quality — they have content, but it’s not structured for extraction.
